Gustav Weisskopf Museum - Pioneers of the air

In the extensively renovated building of the former district court, a modern exhibition concept invites visitors to learn, discover and try things out.

Changing special exhibitions and events make the museum year varied and entertaining.

Our trained museum guides tell you many background details about the aviation pioneers in entertaining stories and bring history to life.

Old Town Leutershausen

The pretty old town with its half-timbered houses, town wall with towers and winding alleyways enchants visitors with its unmistakable charm. In front of the town hall at the Upper Gate you will see the historic tubular fountain, which is adorned with various decorations throughout the year.

Discover the old town on your own or follow our P.E.P. 1 - the Pioneer Experience Trail through the old town and learn more about proverbial sayings. Puzzle fans can pick up a city rally with puzzles for children aged 8 and over at the town hall, museum or cultural center.

Near the Lower Gate you will find the Gustav Weißkopf monument, and the starting point for our city and night watchman tours is on the open space opposite.
