An event for young and old

Every year on Christmas Eve, at 2 pm, young and old wait eagerly at the Upper Gate in the middle of our beautiful historic old town for the Christ Child to appear.

The Leutershausen "Christkindles Runterläuten" has now developed into a
firm tradition, which is also attended by guests from near and far and has even been reported on by Bavarian television
.

It is a highlight of the Christmas season for the children, who look forward long in advance to
catching some of the sweets that the Christ Child and "Belzi" throw from the upper tower.
The older ones among them are already getting ready to compete for the tree, which is richly decorated with sweets,
and which the "Belzi" drops from the tower at the end.
