Travel guide for your pocket

Brochure of the ILE region Altmühlland A6 published

A travel guide for your pocket makes you want to visit the region

On around 50 pages in handy pocket format, you will find information on the region's most beautiful sights, bathing opportunities, hiking and cycling trails. Of course, there is also an overview of the most important events and festivals in Altmühlland. In order to keep the travel guide lean, QR codes are included on many pages. These lead to further information, for example on the websites of the municipalities and towns. The free travel guide will be sent to all households within the ILE region in the near future. It will also be displayed in town halls and stores, for example. It can also be "leafed through" online on the ILE region website: www.altmuehlland-a6.de

On the one hand, the pocket guide is aimed at the residents of the member municipalities themselves, who can use it to get to know their beautiful region better. On the other hand, it is also intended to appeal to tourists and excursionists from other regions and give them a compact introduction to the attractiveness of the region around Altmühl and Wieseth.

Around nine years ago, the ten municipalities of Arberg, Aurach, Bechhofen a.d.H., Burgoberbach, Burk, Dentlein a.F., Dombühl, Herrieden, Leutershausen and Wieseth joined forces to form the ILE Altmühlland A6 special purpose association. The Office for Rural Development of Middle Franconia supports the ten municipalities in their inter-municipal cooperation. The abbreviation ILE stands for "Integrated Rural Development".
