Upon request, you will receive information about the data stored about you in the residents' register.Description
The so-called self-disclosure from the population register is a special form of the right to information in accordance with Art. 15 of the General Data Protection Regulation. It is limited in the exceptional cases in accordance with Section 11 of the Federal Registration Act.
Deadlines
- Log data from automated retrievals and automated simple information from the register of residents is stored for at least 12 months and deleted at the latest at the end of the calendar year following storage. Data on non-automated simple and extended information from the register of residents is deleted after one year.
- If you move away from the area of responsibility of a registration authority, it is obliged to delete some of the stored data after certain deadlines have expired, §§ 13, 14 BMG. Self-disclosure can no longer be provided for this data after the deadline has expired.
