Water supply; payment of water charges
Brief description
You pay (regular) water charges for the amount of water you draw from the public water supply system.Description
The local contribution and fee statutes to the water supply statutes (BGS/WAS) generally stipulate that property owners (and other potential fee payers specified in the statutes) must pay water consumption fees to the municipality for the quantities of water drawn from the public water supply system on their property. These charges are typically calculated on the basis of a water consumption volume determined by water meters, which is then multiplied by a charge rate set by the municipality.
