Welcome to Leutershausen! The Brühlwiese RV park offers you the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. Thanks to its idyllic and peaceful setting, the park is the ideal starting point for exploring the hometown of aviation pioneer Gustav Weißkopf.
Here's what you can expect at the Brühlwiese campground:
- Free parking: Use the parking space completely free of charge for your overnight stay.
- Surrounded by nature: Enjoy the peaceful, green atmosphere and relax.
- Seating Area & Picnic Spot: A cozy seating area invites you to relax, read, and enjoy a snack outdoors.
- Cleanliness: Trash cans are provided for convenient trash disposal.
- Excellent amenities: Bakeries, supermarkets, and other shopping options and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.
- Close to the Old Town: The historic Old Town of Leutershausen, with all its sights, is just a few minutes' walk away.
- Dogs Welcome: Your four-legged friend is also very welcome here—the green surroundings are perfect for long walks.
Important Note for Planning Your Trip:
Please note that the Brühlwiese campsite is designed as a simple, nature-oriented rest area and does not have any utility or waste disposal facilities (no electricity, no fresh water, no gray water or sewage disposal).
Location in the floodplain: The campsite is located directly within the Altmühl floodplain. Due to weather conditions (e.g., during high water), the campsite may therefore be temporarily closed.

Campsite Pfetzendorfer Weiher
There is a campground in the Pfetzendorf neighborhood by the Pfetzendorfer Weiher. Advance registration with Ms. Gruzlo or Ms. Dubienka is required.
The rent is for
10 persons: 20 € / night
20 persons: 40 € / night
30 persons: 50 €/night
40 persons: 60 €/night
+ 50 € deposit, which will be refunded after proper acceptance. You book the whole pitch for yourself. No other tents will be allowed on the campsite during your booking period. Please note that the bathing pond, changing rooms and toilets may also be used by visiting bathers and swimmers during your stay.
Only persons of legal age can make a booking for the pond. Please let us know the number of people when booking, as we have to plan the emptying of the toilets accordingly.
Please note that the campsite can only be rented from May 1 to September 30.
The oak processionary moth is repeatedly discovered in the forest and forest edge next to the Pfetzendorf pond. The affected areas have been cordoned off. If you would still like to camp there, please avoid direct contact with the caterpillars and webworms and do not stay in the immediate vicinity of the cordoned-off trees. If you develop allergic symptoms, please consult a family doctor or dermatologist and inform them of your possible contact with these caterpillars.
