Chess club 1947 Leutershausen

The Leutershausen Chess Club is a meeting place for all friends of the royal game. We, its members, take an active part in the Central Franconia West chess district and play as a team in the district league. Within the club, we play friendly games on chess evenings, deal with chess theory, analyze competitive games and play various tournaments. The speed chess tournaments at the turn of the year and in the Altmühlbad have a long tradition.
Children and young people like to learn to play chess with us and we want to awaken in them the joy of playing chess. Participation in the town's vacation fun activities and even more so the regular children's chess in the Kulturhaus am Ochsenhof are visible signs of this endeavor. By the way, the annual program of the chess club is displayed in the showcase at the "Unterer Turm".
